Episode 51 - Mickey's PhilharMagic

Hey-lo, listeners! SurferClock here along with TAP-G to bring you the latest episode of "What's the Attraction?"

This week, we're poking on over to Fantasyland to have a look at Magic Kingdom's 3D film, Mickey's PhilharMagic! This 2003 attraction replaced Legend of the Lion King, which replaced Magic Journeys, which replaced the Mickey Mouse Revue! (Whew...that's a lot of attractions.) It's an attraction featuring everyone's favorite animated feathered friend, Donald Fauntleroy Duck (yes, that is his name, thank you very much), as he makes a mess of what's supposed to be an elegant night at the opera. He steals Mickey's Sorcerer Hat and once the instruments turn on him, it's a magical musical journey to get the hat back in time for the concert! So, will he? Tune in and find out!

Episode 50 - The Enchanted Tiki Room

Greetings, folks, and chunky tuna tostada! (Don't ask, TAP-G wanted this here) SurferClock here along with TAP-G to bring you the latest episode of "What's the Attraction?"

Well, we've reached another milestone in WTA history...50 episodes! To celebrate, we found out that a great attraction is celebrating 50 years, so...close enough! The Enchanted Tiki Room (also called Tropical Serenade and Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room) opened in Disneyland out west in 1963. While we might be cheating on this one a bit, we also found something interesting in our discussions about this attraction...one of us loves the classic version that's returned to Walt Disney World, while the other actually misses "Enchanted Tiki Room - Under New Management!" Yes, that version from 1998 that stuck with Walt Disney World until 2011...so while we, uh, hash out our differences, you guys get something of a double review, where we rate both Under New Management and the current incarnation!

Great scott, viewers! SurferClock and TAP-G here to bring you the latest episode of "What's the Attraction?"

We're so very happy to be back doing attraction critiques (and we're sure that you all are too!) that we wanted to deliver on a fan request...so here it is, we're taking a look back at one of Universal Studios' most beloved attractions, and being that it's no longer with us here in Florida (and no longer with the folks in California, either), Reese is gonna help us cover it and give us one last ride-through so it can properly be laid to rest. So, if you're ready, let's rev it up to 88mph (141km/h) and travel through time with Doc Emmett Brown...this, is Back to the Future: The Ride!
