Episode 67 - Pirates of the Caribbean

Avast ye, landlubbers! SurferClock here, along with TAP-G, to bring you the latest episode of "What's the Attraction?"

It's time to conclude Mainsail March, as today's episode focuses on the pirate ride that started it all! Pirates of the Carribbean opened at Disneyland in 1967 (episode 67...an odd coincidence for sure!) and Walt Disney World in 1973. It continues to pervade in popularity, and as the boys make their way toward the volcano, they'll review it just for you! But will they get that ring disposed of and make it out safely? Mainsail March ends with this episode!

Episode 66 - The Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow

Fair tidings to all ye out there! SurferClock here, along with TAP-G, to bring you the latest episode of "What's the Attraction?"

In today's episode, the boys, and Jack Sparrow, are captured by another pirate looking to settle a score with the Pearl's captain. Upon hearing of the boys' intent to review "The Legend of Captain Jack Sparrow," however, he bargains their freedom by issuing a challenge! To find out more, you'll have to take a listen! For reference, today's attraction opened up in December of 2012 over at Disney's Hollywood Studios and tasks Guests with participating in a "pirate" "adventure." Yeah, they're in quotes.

Episode 65 - A Pirate's Adventure: Treasure of the Seven Seas

Ahoy, maties! SurferClock here, along with TAP-G and TowerGirl, to bring you the latest episode of "What's the Attraction?"

Mainsail March has brought us aboard the Black Pearl with Captain Jack Sparrow himself! TAP-G found a very special ring near the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction last week, and Jack came looking for it, bringing unintended company in the form of Barbossa. Now aboard the Pearl, we're reviewing an interactive experience at Magic Kingdom Park called "A Pirate's Adventure: Treasure of the Seven Seas." Similar in style to Sorcerers of the Magic Kingdom, Guests are enlisted to help Captain Jack Sparrow reclaim the treasures of the seven seas. What did we think of it? Find out by listening at the link below!

Theme Park Reel-view #3: Pirates of the Caribbean - Curse of the Black Pearl

Avast ye, listeners! SurferClock here, along with TAP-G, to bring you the latest episode of "What's the Attraction?"

Yes, it's time for Mainsail March to set sail from the choppy shores of the Internet! This month, we're taking a look at Disney's Pirates-related attractions! Of which there are 4. And with 5 Mondays in March, the gap had to be filled with just one more thing...so, we decided to do a Theme Park Reel-view of the first Pirates movie! The film came out in 2003, and with the previous year's offering of The Country Bears, most everyone dreaded another Disney theme park ride adaptation...but now that it's sprawned a hit franchise, it's time we took a look at the film that started it all! Enjoy!
