Greetings one and all!
I'm SurferClock, and this is just the beginning of what my friend "TAP-G" and I hope will be a successful venture.
The purpose and objective of this blog is to jumpstart the project "What's the Attraction?," a formatted podcast that will discuss all things amusement park and theme park, from rides, attractions, and shows in the big boys (Disney, Universal, SeaWorld, etc.) to the smaller mom-and-pop parks, attractions, shows, and restaurants. TAP-G and I both live in Central Florida, living and breathing the theme park culture. Our passion and a combined 10 years or more working and playing in the parks has left us raring to share our tips, tricks, reviews, and more with the general public. We hope to do this in a variety of ways, from periodic podcasts to pictures and, in the future, perhaps video and even other media forms to come.
Our hope is that once we get things started, you'll tag along, tell your friends, and spread the word. Whether you're planning a trip to the Sunshine State or just curious about what the area has to offer, we want to be a source of information and inspiration to all.
As of right now, there's no release date for the first episode of the podcast. We are still scoping out ideas, locales, equipment, formats, and so on. Keep it tuned here for the latest, and once we can get the ball rolling, there'll be more updates to come!
Let's leave this first post on one final note: the news, opinions, reviews, and insights provided here are solely the opinions of the co-founders, SurferClock and TAP-G, and not those of any official theme park.
